Al-Manfi calls on Guterres to expedite the appointment of a permanent envoy to Libya.

Tripoli: The President of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Al-Manfi, called on the Secretary-General of the United Nations, "Antonio Guterres", to expedite the appointment of a permanent envoy to Libya, accompanied by the Security Council extending the mission's work for a period sufficient to complete the national elections. Al-Menfi said in a post on his account on X today, Wednesday, that the continuation of unilateral decisions without trying to address them as a package through the dialogue of the parties led by the mission, encourages institutions to continue their unilateral approach.
