Tripoli, – The Representative of the Presidential Council, Abdullah Hussein Al-Lafi, considered completion of the (5+5) committee of the action plan and the arrangements it entails to ensure a ceasefire and the withdrawal of mercenaries and foreign fighters, as the culmination of the continuous and tireless work of the Presidential Council.
As commander-in-chief of the Libyan army, it reinforces our hope that we are on the right track, he wrote in a post on his personal account on Facebook.
Al-Lafi expressed hope that this important plan would coincide with similar progress in the various paths towards achieving national benefits, represented by the elections on schedule.
Al-Lafi praised the efforts and work of the Joint Military Committee (5+5) since its formation, describing it as a great patriotic work that contributed not only to advancing the military and security process, but also the political process, which is a commendable work and effort.
