Addis Ababa- The representative of the Presidential Council, “Abdullah Al-Lafi,” met today, Tuesday, in Addis Ababa, the President of the Republic of the Congo, “Denis Sassawo Ngiso,” the head of the African Union’s high-level committee on Libya.
During the meeting held on the sidelines of the African Union summit, Al-Lafi praised the positions and efforts of Sassou Ngiso with regard to the Libyan issue, assuring him that the Presidential Council is working to bring together the Libyan parties in an inclusive and comprehensive conference, after the success of the preparatory forum for reconciliation held last January. The Presidential Media Office stated that it was agreed that the African Union would support the efforts of the Presidential Council to push forward the national reconciliation project and to hold the inclusive national conference for reconciliation.
