Al-Lafi stressed during his participation in the activities of the symposium organized by the Center for Political, Economic and Social Studies today in the Turkish capital, Ankara, under the slogan “Towards a deeper understanding of the policies of external players towards Libya” that the outputs of any academic scientific work will have a positive impact on the research environment, and this is what We wish.
Regarding what the SITA Center, which supervised the symposium in cooperation, the Supreme Council of State and a number of experts and researchers, is doing, a member of the Presidential Council said that the policies of international players towards Libya are still difficult for many to understand, as the political and media circles that control global public opinion turn them around. It wanted, and on the side that achieves its interests, and that what happened in Libya, following the February 17th revolution, would not have happened had it not been for the external parties, and here we never equate those who supported the struggle of our people, in order for their struggle to culminate in the establishment of the civil state that it has always dreamed of, And among those who wanted him to return to restrictions and oppression, marginalization and economic and social backwardness.
Al-Lafi concluded his speech by emphasizing the urgent need for scientific research to study political phenomena and changes, which would enable political decision-makers to formulate policies and take the right decisions.
