Tripoli: Vice President of the Presidential Council, Abdullah Al-Lafi, engaged in discussions with the Japanese Ambassador to Libya, Shimura, focusing on enhancing cooperation between Libya and Japan.
According to Libyan News Agency, the Japanese Embassy in Libya shared that Al-Lafi expressed his gratitude for his participation in the Ninth Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD 9), held in Japan in August. This participation was seen as a significant step towards strengthening the bilateral relations between the two nations.
Shimura highlighted that the high-level meetings during TICAD 9, including interactions with Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress of Japan, were crucial milestones in advancing the bilateral ties between Japan and Libya.
