Al-Lafi, accompanied by the Minister of Justice, is holding meetings in Cairo today as part of the national reconciliation process.

Cairo, The Vice-President of the Presidential Council, Abdullah Al-Lafi, accompanied by the Minister of Justice in the National Unity Government, Halima Abd Rahman, arrived in the Egyptian capital yesterday, on a mission that falls within the entitlement of national reconciliation launched by the Presidential Council on the sixth of last September. Lafi and his companions had an official reception, where he was received by the Egyptian Assistant Foreign Minister and the Director of the Libya Administration, Ambassador Muhammad Abu Bakr.

The electronic “Bawabet al-Wasat”, quoting an informed source, stated that Al-Lafi (he will meet with representatives of the former regime in Cairo, this evening, Saturday, within the framework of the implementation of the national reconciliation project).
