Al-Kilani Discusses Preparations for High-Level Arab Event for the Elderly in Tripoli

Tripoli: Minister of Social Affairs, Wafaa Al-Kilani, met with a delegation from the League of Arab States to discuss preparations for the high-level Arab event for senior officials in the social affairs sector, scheduled to be held in Tripoli. According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting addressed organizational and logistical aspects related to hosting the Arab delegations, including reception, accommodation, and transportation arrangements. Discussions also covered the event's program, the preparation of venues, and ensuring the readiness of working teams. The meeting further reviewed coordination mechanisms among relevant authorities to ensure the smooth running of the event and provide a suitable environment for high-level discussions, thus guaranteeing the achievement of the event's objectives. The Minister affirmed the Ministry's readiness, along with all supporting entities, to welcome the participants. She emphasized the importance of organizing the event in a manner befitting Libya's standing and enhancing its role in joint Arab action, particularly in the areas of social protection and elderly issues.
