The head of the National State Forces Alliance, Ammar al-Hakim, confirmed his support for the federal government's service and development path. The Alliance stated in a statement: "Al-Hakim met with a delegation from the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan and discussed with him the developments of the political scene and the mutual relationship with the union and the milestones that brought the two sides together in the history of modern Iraq." Al-Hakim stressed: "The importance of resolving the local governments file and the necessity of coordinating positions to provide services and proceed with the reconstruction campaign," calling for "the formation of the local government for Kirkuk Governorate and taking into account the component balance in it."
