Tripoli: Minister of Health, Mohamed Al-Ghouj, officially assumed his duties today, following his role as Undersecretary of the Ministry, marking a significant change in the recent cabinet reshuffle instituted by the Government of National Unity.
According to Libyan News Agency, Al-Ghouj convened an extensive meeting with department directors and affiliated bodies within the Ministry following his appointment. During the meeting, he reviewed the Ministry's comprehensive plan aimed at developing the health sector. Key areas of focus include enhancing the quality of medical services, ensuring the availability of essential medicines and supplies, and improving the operational efficiency of hospitals and health centers.
In his address, Al-Ghouj stressed the necessity of teamwork and adherence to established implementation plans, alongside the importance of regular monitoring to track progress. He underscored that the Ministry's initiatives will prioritize improving healthcare for citizens and elevating both administrative and technical performance across health institutions.
