Tripoli: The Undersecretary General of the Ministry of Health and Acting Minister, Mohamed Al-Ghouj, engaged in discussions with the World Health Organization (WHO) Representative in Libya, Ahmed Zouiten, to enhance cooperation and evaluate the country’s action plan.
According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting focused on the mechanism for evaluating the action plan for bilateral cooperation between the Ministry of Health and the WHO for the years 2024-2025. In addition to this, they commenced preparatory steps for adopting the action plan for the upcoming years.
The discussions also covered strategic national priority areas, which include strengthening health information systems, achieving universal health coverage, and promoting community health. Other health issues being addressed in partnership with the World Health Organization were also part of the agenda.
