Al-Fazzani and Jadu Mayor Discuss Tourism Sector Development and Heritage Preservation

Tripoli: The Minister of Tourism and Traditional Industries in the Government of National Unity, Nasr al-Din Al-Fazzani, held a meeting with the Mayor of Jadu, Asim Buha, to explore strategies aimed at enhancing and developing the tourism sector in Jadu. They highlighted the need for collaboration among relevant stakeholders to advance this crucial sector.

According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting took place at the Ministry's headquarters in Tripoli, where discussions centered on mechanisms for developing local tourism assets and optimizing their use. The importance of preserving Jadu's cultural heritage and historical legacy was emphasized as a means to enhance its historical and cultural identity and to increase its attractiveness as a tourist destination.

Both parties agreed on the necessity to support development initiatives and projects related to tourism and traditional industries. They also discussed creating an environment conducive to investment and job opportunities for young people. These measures are intended to promote sustainable development, achieve balanced local development, and establish Jadu as a prominent tourist destination.
