Al-Dbeibah Declares Public Holiday for Prophet’s Birthday

Tripoli: Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdulhamid Al-Dbeibah, has issued a decision declaring Tuesday, August 25, a public holiday. This announcement is in celebration of the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's birthday, also known as Mawlid al-Nabawi al-Sharif.

According to Libyan News Agency, the decision exempts institutions and facilities that provide humanitarian and security services. Employees in these sectors will maintain their right to compensation for working on this day, as stipulated by law.
