Al-Dabaiba describes Libyan woman as the maker of the future and the safety valve of the homeland.

The head of the government of national unity, “Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba,” called on Libyan women to participate in the political field vigorously and to establish parties to enter the upcoming elections, whether parliamentary or presidential.

This came in his speech during his participation in the celebration held by the Office of the Minister of State for Women’s Affairs on the occasion of the National Day of Libyan Women held in the capital, Tripoli.

In his speech, Al-Dabaiba described Libyan women as the creator of the future and the safety valve, as it is a basic school in the formation of dependable generations in the future.

The ceremony, which was held at the Al Mahari Hotel in Tripoli, was attended by the Minister of State for Women’s Affairs, Houria Tarmal, the Minister of State for Communication Affairs, Walid Al-Lafi, a number of government ministers, representatives of a number of consulates and diplomatic missions accredited in Libya, and a crowd of businesswomen in Libya.

This ceremony comes within the framework of supporting the government of national unity for Libyan women and defining April 26 of each year as a national day for Libyan women.

The ceremony also aims to support women and emphasize their role and participation in political decision-making as a major partner in the country and a participant in its advancement.
