Al-Baour meets with Japanese Foreign Minister in Tokyo.

Tripoli: The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Taher Al-Baour, discussed with the Japanese Foreign Minister, Yoko Kamikawa, in Tokyo today, the supporting of bilateral cooperation relations between the two countries in a number of fields, especially human resources development and training. In the meeting held at the beginning of Al-Baour's visit to Japan to participate in the African-Japanese Conference, Kamikawa expressed her appreciation for the progress made in bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries. During the meeting, views were exchanged on a number of topics and issues on the regional and international arena, most notably the Palestinian issue and reform of the Security Council, and an agreement was reached to continue coordination and joint consultation between the two sides in a way that serves the interests of the two friendly peoples.
