Tripoli: The acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Taher Al-Baour, convened a virtual meeting with Libya’s ambassadors to European Union countries. This meeting, conducted via Zoom, was designed to evaluate the operations of Libyan embassies and improve the nation’s diplomatic engagement abroad.
According to Libyan News Agency, the discussions centered on the current functioning of Libyan embassies across Europe, the obstacles they encounter, and strategies to enhance consular and diplomatic efforts in alignment with national interests. Al-Baour emphasized the importance of elevating the operational efficiency within these embassies and ensuring that Libyan communities receive optimal services. He also highlighted the necessity of complying with the administrative and financial regulations set forth by the ministry to strengthen Libya’s international standing.
