Tripoli: The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Government of National Unity, Taher Al-Baour, met with the Charg© d’Affaires of the US Embassy in Libya, Jeremy Berndt, to discuss bilateral relations and developments in the Libyan political situation.
According to Libyan News Agency, during their meeting, the two officials explored ways to develop and enhance cooperation between Libya and the United States across various fields. They also addressed the current political situation in Libya and discussed strategies to support the government’s efforts in consolidating security and stability in the region.
Both sides highlighted the significance of maintaining ongoing consultations and coordination on regional and international issues of mutual interest at the conclusion of their discussions.
