Al-Baour Arrives in Addis Ababa for African Union Executive Council Session

Addis Ababa: The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Government of National Unity, Taher Al-Baour, along with his accompanying delegation, arrived in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, to attend the forty-sixth regular session of the Executive Council of the African Union. This event is scheduled to take place on February 12 and 13.

According to Libyan News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on its official Facebook page that this participation is part of the preparations for the African summit set for February 15 and 16, 2025. The summit will address key issues aimed at enhancing joint African action and fostering cooperation among member states.

In addition to attending the session, Al-Baour is set to conduct a series of bilateral meetings with several foreign ministers. These meetings aim to strengthen cooperation and coordination between African countries.
