Al-Baour and Kroslak Discuss Joint Cooperation Between Libya and UN

Tripoli: Taher Al-Baour, acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Government of National Unity, met with Daniela Kroslak, Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations and Chair of the Strategic Review Team, to discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation between Libya and the United Nations.

According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting took place in the capital, Tripoli, and addressed aspects of existing cooperation between the two sides. It reviewed the overall activities of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) over the past years and discussed prospects for future cooperation, particularly in the areas of economic reform and promoting stability and development.

The discussions emphasized the importance of continuing coordination and consultation to serve the interests of the Libyan people and support the country’s political transition and sustainable development.
