Al-Baour and French Ambassador Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Cooperation in Tripoli

Tripoli: The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Government of National Unity, Taher Al-Baour, met with the French Ambassador to Libya, Thierry Vallat, to explore opportunities for economic cooperation between Libya and France, focusing on investment, energy, and development.



According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting took place at the Ministry headquarters and also covered recent political and security developments in Libya. Discussions included strategies to bolster efforts aimed at enhancing security and stability in the region.



Both parties highlighted the significance of improving coordination and consultation within multilateral international forums. They agreed that such collaboration would serve mutual interests and aid in supporting both regional and international stability. Additionally, they underscored the need to strengthen the existing cooperation between Libya and France to expand the scope of their bilateral partnership.
