Algiers: The person in charge of running the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Taher Al-Baour, met with his Algerian counterpart, Minister of Foreign Affairs Ahmed Attaf, during a ministerial session on the Palestinian issue in Algeria today. They discussed the latest developments concerning the Palestinian issue and the importance of unifying diplomatic efforts to support the rights of the Palestinian people.
According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting also reviewed current developments in regional and international issues of common interest, as well as bilateral relations between Libya and Algeria. They explored ways to enhance these relations in various fields to serve their common interests.
The media office of the ministry reported that Al-Baour expressed Libya’s appreciation for Algeria’s efforts in supporting Arab issues, highlighting the active role played by Algeria during its presidency of the UN Security Council.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of continuing coordination between Libya and Algeria on all relevant files. This coordination aims to enhance Arab unity and address issues of peace and stability in the region.
