National Security Adviser Qasim Al-Araji praised the official announcement of the end of the missions of the international coalition.
The Chencellry said in a statement: “Al-Araji met in his office today with the British Ambassador to Baghdad, Stephen Hitchcock.”
Al-Araji praised the official announcement of the end of the missions of the international coalition, stressing that it is an achievement for the government of Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, and a transformation in the relationship with countries to bilateral relations for security and intelligence cooperation between Iraq and members of the coalition, in a way that achieves the interests of Iraq and the security and stability of the region.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral relations in various fields, in addition to discussing the latest developments in the Palestinian and Lebanese arenas and the repercussions of the recent escalation in the region.
They stressed the importance of not expanding the scope of the conflict in the reg
ion and working through diplomatic channels, to spare the region and the world the danger of the repercussions of conflicts and crises.
