Baghdad: National Security Adviser Qasim Al-Araji confirmed today that the security services are vigilant and constantly prepared to pursue anyone who endangers the security of Iraq and Iraqis. Al-Araji emphasized this during his participation in the activities of the first annual forum of the Christian, Yazidi, and Mandaean Endowments Diwan. According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Araji stated on the "X" platform that the current circumstances in the country have changed, highlighting that there is no longer an incubator for any extremist elements within Iraq. He affirmed the strength of the nation, attributing it to the unity and cohesion of its people. Furthermore, Al-Araji pointed out that the security forces have implemented all necessary precautions to secure the borders. He expressed hope that the Syrian government would assert control over its entire territory, as this would contribute to stability in both Iraq and the broader region.
