Al-Abed Engages with Pakistani Ambassador on Educational Collaboration

Tripoli: The Minister of Education in charge of the Government of National Unity, Ali Al-Abed, held discussions with Anjum Enayat, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Libya, focusing on bilateral relations in the educational sector and strategies to enhance them.

According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting was attended by the minister’s advisor and directors from various departments, including the Educational Facilities Authority, the International Cooperation Office, and the Private Education Department. Discussions revolved around cooperation with the Pakistani school operating in Libya.

The ministry highlighted that this meeting aligns with its commitment to overseeing international educational institutions in Libya and ensuring adherence to national standards. During the discussions, Al-Abed underscored the importance of aligning the school’s operations with the Ministry’s legislation and regulations. He also emphasized that the admission of Libyan students should involve prior coordi
nation with the Private Education Department and adhere to the technical and educational standards set by the Educational Facilities Authority.
