Abu Janah Visits Al-Asabaa General Hospital to Address Health Service Needs

Abu Janah: Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity and Minister of Health in charge, Ramadan Abu Janah, conducted a visit to Al-Asabaa General Hospital to evaluate the health situation and the hospital’s requirements for maintaining medical services for citizens.

According to Libyan News Agency, the visit included participation from the head of the National Safety Authority, Major General Othman Mlegta, along with several officials. During the inspection, the minister examined the hospital’s departments, assessed the work progress, and gauged the medical staff’s preparedness for emergencies. He listened to reports detailing the significant challenges the hospital faces, notably the shortage of medical supplies and equipment.

Abu Janah emphasized that the ministry is actively monitoring the situation in the city, following recommendations from the Prime Minister. He highlighted the importance of utilizing all available resources to support the hospital, which includes providing urgent medical supplies, enhancing the strength of medical personnel, and bolstering ambulance and emergency services to deliver essential health care to citizens during these challenging times.
