Abu Janah and Iraqi Ambassador Discuss Joint Health Cooperation

Tripoli: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health in charge of the Government of National Unity, Ramadan Abu Janah, discussed on Tuesday with Ahmed Al-Sahaf, Charg© d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq to Libya, aspects of joint cooperation in the health field between the two countries.

According to Libyan News Agency, the media office of the ministry stated that the discussions focused on ways to enhance partnership in the health sector. This includes the exchange of medical expertise, cooperation in the fields of training and rehabilitation, bringing in Iraqi medical personnel to support health institutions in Libya, and exploring the possibility of signing bilateral agreements aimed at developing and improving the quality of health services.

Abu Janah emphasized during the meeting the Ministry of Health’s commitment to enhancing cooperation with various countries. He highlighted the importance of benefiting from successful experiences in the health sector, which would contribute to raising the efficiency of the health system and improving the quality of services provided to citizens.
