Tripoli: Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Council, Abdullah Al-Lafi, met with the Japanese Ambassador to Libya, Shimura, to discuss the prospects for joint cooperation between the two nations.
According to Libyan News Agency, the Japanese Embassy in Libya stated that the meeting aligns with Mr. Al-Lafi’s significant role in enhancing bilateral relations between Japan and Libya. The discussions aimed at fostering cooperation and included an exchange of views on the latest developments in Libya.
The embassy further reported that Al-Lafi confirmed his participation in the Ninth Tokyo International Conference on African Development, highlighting his commitment to strengthening ties with Japan.
