The police of Al-Najaf Governorate arrested a person accused of murder, while he was trying to escape through the governorate’s international airport.
The Najaf Police Command said in a statement: “After collecting information and evidence, the identity of the killer was identified and his attempt to flee to another country, and after monitoring several outlets, including Najaf International Airport, the accused was arrested there shortly before departure.”
The Command added: “The process of collecting information, identifying the killer, and arresting him took three hours, and the accused was referred to the judiciary.”
