A Plane Takes Off To Evacuate Iraqis From Sudan

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the take-off of the evacuation plane intended to return Iraqis from Sudan.

Today, Sunday, a spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Al-Sahhaf, said, “In implementation of the directives of Prime Minister Muhammad Al-Sudani, and pursuant to the follow-up of Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein, head of the Emergency Diplomatic Response Operations Room, the evacuation plane designated to return the Iraqis took off from the martyr Muhammad Alaa military air base, west of Baghdad, heading to Port Sudan Airport in northeastern Sudan.
