The Babylon Police arrested a person who runs a begging network consisting of his wife and four children in al- Hashemia district, south of the governorate.
Brigadier General Adel Al-Husseini, Adel Al-Husseini, media director of Babylon Police, said, “The operation took place after the person was followed up by a detachment of Babylon police, and all members of the network were arrested in cooperation with the detachments of the Hashemia District Police Department and the National Security, Traffic and Rescue detachments operating within the district.”
He added: “The accused is riding a modern Nissan vehicle, which he used to distribute members of the network to intersections for begging.”
