A Network Of Drug Traffickers And A Woman Accused Of Human Trafficking Arrested In Najaf

The Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency arrested a network of drug traffickers and a woman accused of human trafficking in Najaf Governorate.

The Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency at the Ministry of Interior stated in a statement: “our detachments in Najaf Governorate, after obtaining judicial approvals, arrested a network consisting of (5) accused of drug traffickers and seized narcotics (crystal), tools used for abuse, and firearms in their possession.”

It added: “our detachments arrested a wanted suspect according to the legal article (405) attempted murder, as well as the arrest of one of the suspects who is wanted by the National Security Directorate in Najaf according to Article (18) of the Human Organ Transplants Act.”

The Intelligence Agency called on citizens to provide information and report outlaws by calling the free hotline 144.
