A coordination meeting of the Representatives of the Arab League in preparation for the Arab-Chinese Cooperation Forum

The second coordination meeting was held today, Tuesday, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Arab League at the level of Permanent Representatives of the Arab countries, to prepare for the 18th session of the meeting of senior officials of the Arab-Chinese Cooperation Forum, and the seventh session of the strategic political dialogue at the level of senior officials, to be held on the 29th of this May.

The Coordination meeting was chaired by Ambassador Mohamed Mustafa Arfi, Permanent Representative of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Arab League (presiding over the current session of the League Council at the ministerial level), with the participation of delegates and representatives of member states.

The delegation of the General Secretariat was headed by Ambassador Khalid bin Muhammad Manzalawi, Assistant Secretary General – Head of the International Political Affairs Sector.

During the meeting, the draft documents to be issued from the work of the 18th session of the meeting of senior officials of the Arab-Chinese Cooperation Forum and the seventh session of the strategic political dialogue at the level of senior officials were discussed, as well as the preparation arrangements for this session in order to strengthen cooperation with the Chinese side in accordance with the directions of the leaders of the Arab countries and the Secretary-General of the Arab League.
