A committee commissioned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs looks at the situation of the Libyan embassy in Damascus.

Tripoli, The committee assigned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to inspect the Libyan embassy in Damascus and to assess and address the situation of the embassy has completed its work by preparing a report in this regard. This is in an effort by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation that diplomatic missions in all countries of the world should exercise their tasks under the umbrella of the Government of National Unity, as the government of all Libyans, under the supervision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ website stated that the committee was formed within the framework of the ministry’s endeavor to end the state of division, and to heal all Libyan embassies abroad under the subordination of the national unity government.

In this regard, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Najla Al-Manqoush, assigned a committee of the concerned departments in the ministry to review the situation of the Libyan embassy in the Syrian capital, Damascus, and to evaluate and address some of the existing problems, in order to ensure the exercise of its tasks entrusted to it under the umbrella of the Government of National Unity, and the supervision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. .
