(397) displaced persons return from outside the Dohuk camps to their original areas in Sinjar

Baghdad: The Ministry of Immigration and Displacement announced the return of (397) displaced people living outside Dohuk camps to their original areas in Sinjar.

The Ministry’s media stated in a statement: ‘The Minister of Immigration and Displacement, Ivan Faiq Jabro, announced the return of (397) displaced people living outside the camps in (Khanki) district and its affiliated villages in Dohuk Governorate, to their original areas of residence in Sinjar District in Nineveh Governorate, in coordination with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and Nineveh Operations Command.’

The statement added: “Logistic support was provided to them, within the ministry’s plan to end the displacement file in the country and in line with the government program.
