11 illegal immigrant bodies were found off the coast of Garabulli.

Yesterday, 11 bodies of illegal immigrants were found off the coast of Garabulli by the Coast Guard and the Garabulli branch of the Libyan Red Crescent (LRC).

The communication office of the LRC said that the recovery process took place after a communication was received from Garbouli Police Station, the Criminal Investigation Centre, and the Coast Guard, stating that a boat appeared on the shores of the region carrying more than 84 immigrants.

The official of the Coast Guard, Fathi Al-Zeyani, said that 11 bodies were recovered, one of them a child, off Garabulli, east of Tripoli, adding that the migrants were from Pakistan, Syria, Tunisia, and Egypt.
