The Director General of Sabha International Airport expects air traffic to resume at the airport within two days.

Director General of Sabha International Airport, “Taher Al-Bousifi”, expected the return of air traffic and air navigation at the airport within the next two days.

“Al-Bousifi” said in press statements today that the damage to the airport facilities has been identified and work is now underway to repair them in preparation for the return of flights, which will contribute to alleviating the hardships of travel for citizens.

“Al-Bousifi” pointed out that air traffic had stopped due to the damage caused by the heavy rains that the city of Sabha was exposed to, which caused several damages to the airport facilities, such as the runway and the passenger terminal, and some offices that were flooded with water and disabled some devices.
