Sweilam follows up development procedures of the Holding Company for Irrigation and Drainage and its subsidiaries


Dr. Hani Sweilam, Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation, held a meeting to follow up on the procedures for developing the performance of the Holding Company for Irrigation and Drainage and its two subsidiaries, the Egyptian Irrigation and Drainage Company and the Egyptian Dredging Company.

Dr. Sweilam stressed the importance of maximizing the benefit from the capabilities of the Holding Company for Irrigation and Drainage and its subsidiaries to activate and increase the company’s participation in implementing projects, whether inside or outside Egypt, in addition to submitting to various tenders, by studying the needs of the local and foreign market, and the good employment of the company’s capabilities, whether in terms of human capabilities or equipment. This is in addition to work on raising the efficiency and maintenance of equipment, as well as raising the capabilities and training of the company’s employees.

Dr. Sweilam directed to make more efforts to continue improving the company’s financial
position during the coming period and also to exploit the assets owned by the company to achieve the greatest investment benefit for the company, and to emphasize the completion of the work carried out by the subsidiaries according to the scheduled implementation schedule.
