President of the Republic: Kirkuk has the importance and societal diversity that qualifies it to be a model to be emulated in construction, reconstruction and development

President of the Republic Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid stressed that Kirkuk has the importance and societal diversity that qualifies it to be a model to be emulated in construction, reconstruction and development.

During his meeting with Kirkuk Governor Ribwar Taha, the President stressed the need to enhance peaceful coexistence in the governorate, and to consolidate harmony among the members of the council and the local government in the governorate in order to provide better services to the people of Kirkuk.

The meeting was attended on the sidelines of the President’s participation in the memorial ceremony to commemorate the seventh anniversary of the death of President Mam Jalal (may God have mercy on him), the Minister of Environment, Eng. Nizar Amedi, and a number of advisors to the President of the Republic and officials.

During the meeting, the overall situation in the province was discussed, as well as the plans put in place to meet the needs of its people, where the President of the Republic stres
sed the importance of exerting maximum efforts to improve its reality in all fields, and to enhance the values of brotherhood and coexistence among its components.

For his part, the Governor of Kirkuk appreciated the interest of the President of the Republic and his keenness to overcome obstacles to support the progress of the province’s administration to improve its reality from all aspects.
