Kurdistan Regional Government signs joint trade agreement with Britain

The Kurdistan Regional Government signed the joint trade priorities agreement between the region and the United Kingdom, which aims to develop trade in the fields of agriculture, health, human capacity development and technology.

The Kurdistan Regional Government Presidency said in a statement: “The PM of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, met today with a British delegation headed by the King’s Trade Commissioner in the Middle East and Pakistan, Oliver Christian.”

He pointed out that “during the meeting, which was attended by the Consul General of the United Kingdom to the region, Andrew Beasley, discussions were held on ways to strengthen relations between the region and Britain, especially in the fields of trade and investment.”
