The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) announced an increase in Iraq’s oil exports to America during the past week.
A table published by the EIA on its official website showed that “the average US imports of crude oil during the past week from 9 major countries amounted to 5.787 million barrels per day, up by 911 thousand barrels per day from the previous week, which amounted to 4.876 million barrels per day.”
It added that “Iraq’s oil exports to America amounted to 222 thousand barrels per day last week, up by 21 thousand barrels per day from the previous week, which amounted to 201 thousand barrels per day.”
It indicated that “the largest oil imports to America during the past week came from Canada at a rate of 4.026 million barrels per day, followed by Mexico at an average of 510 thousand barrels per day, followed by Saudi Arabia at an average of 326 thousand barrels per day, from Colombia at an average of 229 thousand barrels per day, and from Nigeria at an average of 175 thousand barrels per d
ay.”
According to the table, “the amount of US imports of crude oil from Brazil was at a rate of 113 thousand barrels per day, from Ecuador at a rate of 103 thousand barrels per day, and then Libya at a rate of 83 thousand barrels per day.
