Baqubah A force from the Diyala Police carried out a security operation south of Baqubah, the center of the governorate.
A security source told the correspondent of the Iraqi National News Agency / NINA /: “A force from the Seventh Diyala Emergency Regiment carried out a security operation that included searching orchards and agricultural villages south of the Bahraz district and near the edge of the Diyala River.”
He explained: “The operation aims to prevent terrorist cells from finding a safe haven in areas south of Baqubah.”
