HRH the Deputy King meets with the newly appointed Ambassador of the French Republic to the Kingdom of Bahrain

Manama, The Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, today met with the newly appointed Ambassador of the French Republic to the Kingdom of Bahrain, HE Eric Giraud-Telme, at Gudaibiya Palace.

His Royal Highness highlighted the strength of Bahrain-France relations which continues to grow through multisector cooperation, noting the importance of consolidating the bilateral partnership across all levels to achieve mutual aspirations that benefit all.

HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad welcomed the newly appointed Ambassador and wished him success in performing his diplomatic duties.

During the meeting, issues of common interest and regional and international developments were also discussed. In this regard, HRH the Deputy King noted the significant weight France holds on an international scale, recognising its pivotal role, alongside allied countries, in safeguarding regional and global safety and security, which are essential to economic development.

For his part, HE Giraud-Telme expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with His Royal Highness, noting His Royal Highness’ commitment to furthering bilateral relations to meet mutual aspirations.

The Minister of Cabinet Affairs, HE Hamad bin Faisal Al Malki, also attended the meeting.
