Manama, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, congratulated His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, on the occasion of the Kingdom of Bahrain winning four medals at the Paris 2024 Olympics, the most recent being a gold medal in the men’s freestyle wrestling 97kg competition.
His Royal Highness noted that these sporting achievements are an embodiment of the continuous support that His Majesty gives to Bahraini sports, which enhances Bahrain’s position in regional and international sporting events.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister expressed his pride in Team Bahrain’s accomplishments, which were achieved through determination and limitless ambitions and have raised the status of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad commended the prominent role of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa
in developing Bahrain’s sports sector and his continued efforts that contribute to the growth and advancement of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad expressed his sincere congratulations to all those who followed and supported Bahrain in the Olympics, both within the Kingdom and from other Arab countries. HRH highlighted that these distinguished results significantly contribute to enhancing the record of Arab achievements at the Olympics and other international championships.
