Manama, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports First Deputy Chairman, General Sports Authority Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee President, on the occasion of Bahrain winning the gold medal in the women’s 3000m steeplechase race at the Paris 2024 Olympics, achieved by Bahraini athlete Winfred Yavi.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad emphasised that this achievement is a result of HM the King’s unwavering support of the sports sector and directives to provide the best facilities for Bahraini sports.
