The Cabinet's Information Center denied what was circulated on some websites and social media pages claiming granting a reward of 1,000 Egyptian pounds to holders of some ID Cards.
In a statement Saturday 26/08/2023, the center said it communicated with the Egypt Post that refuted such news as "baseless."
These fanned links are false and have nothing to do with the Egypt Post, it added.
All activities and news of the postal agency are officially released through its channels of communication or through Hotline 16789.
The center called on media outlets and social media users to verify the authenticity of the news circulated to avoid perplexing public opinion.
