Foreign Minister Phones Tunisian Counterpart To Discuss Closure Of Border Crossings Between Libya And Tunisia.

Moscow, Foreign and International Cooperation Minister Najla Al Mangoush has twice spoken by phone with her Tunisian Counterpart Othman Al Jrindi on the circumstances of closing the border crossings of Ras Jdeir and Dheiba-Wazen on the Tunisian side, citing the suffering that travelers on both sides endured as a result, especially the patients and families.
The Tunisian Minister said they had no objection re-opening the border crossings, soon after receiving a note from the Coronavirus ad hoc committee, confirming end of danger period, indicating that the closure was precautionary health measures, to protect the citizens in both countries and to prevent a surge in number of infections.
