A large fire devoured orchards in the Khaikan area of the western Hamza district, south of Hillah, today, Friday, without any injuries.
Civil Defense Media Director Aqil Abdullah said, “A fire devoured agricultural lands and orchards in the Khaikan area of the western Hamza district, south of Hillah, today, Friday, and that civil defense teams prevented the fire from reaching neighboring houses.
He added that the police have opened an investigation to determine the causes of the fire.”
