Tripoli: The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, stressed the importance of developing the capabilities of the security and military services to confront any threats, with the need to intensify cooperation between the various security agencies.
This came during Dbeibah’s meeting, today, Sunday, with the Commander of the Joint Operations Force, Major General Omar Bogdada, to follow up on the developments in the files of combating terrorism and the efforts made to enhance the security of the state and protect it from any breaches.
The Prime Minister followed up on the efforts to combat migrant smuggling and human trafficking gangs, stressing the need for continuous coordination with the relevant authorities to enhance security on the borders.
Dbeibah stressed, according to the media office of the Prime Minister, the importance of continuing to enhance the state’s security capabilities to ensure the protection of citizens and preserve the country’s sovereignty against all
forms of threats.
