The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, “Abdul Hamid Dbeibah”, discussed today, Monday, in Tripoli, with the Special Envoy of the French President to Libya, “Paul Soler”, strengthening bilateral relations between Libya and France.
The Prime Minister’s media office reported that during the meeting, the importance of joint cooperation in various fields, especially in the economy and politics, was emphasized.
The office explained that the two parties discussed the latest developments on the Libyan scene, especially the government’s efforts to achieve stability and complete the electoral entitlements and opportunities for cooperation in development projects and infrastructure that would enhance economic growth in the country, in addition to regulatory measures in the banking and financial sector.
According to the office, the French envoy praised the positive developments in the Libyan economy, pointing to the efforts made to revitalize the economic sector and increase foreign investment in the
country.
“Soler” expressed his country’s support for Libya’s stability and the continuation of dialogue between the Libyan parties to achieve political solutions that guarantee the country’s unity.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of State for Communication and Political Affairs “Walid Al-Lafi” and the Prime Minister’s Advisor “Ibrahim Dbeibah”.
