Benghazi Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the House of Representatives, Youssef Al-Aqoury, participated in a workshop on the reconstruction of the old city of Benghazi, organized by the Benghazi Municipality and the Italian Consulate, with the participation of officials and investors from the public and private sectors, as well as Libyan and international businessmen. and representatives of international organizations.
During the workshop, presentations were made to a number of Italian experts on the reconstruction of the old city in Benghazi and the preservation of the cultural and archaeological heritage in that region. The Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee, Yousef Al-Aqoury, expressed his support for such conferences and forums that aim to benefit from global expertise in the field of city planning, expressing his appreciation for the expertise of specialists and Italian companies for their participation in this workshop.
Al-Aqoury explained that the stage of stability witnessed by Libya will be suitable for launching construction and infrastructure development works in all Libyan cities.
