Benghazi-The United Kingdom’s Ambassador to Libya, Caroline Hurndall, said she discussed during a meeting on Sunday with Field Marshal Haftar the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the importance of withdrawing all mercenaries from Libya.
“I was clear in my meeting with Field Marshal Haftar about the need to avoid a return to war’ the ambassador said, adding that she urged all parties in Libya to reach out to the Secretary-General’s Special Adviser Stephanie Williams.
